when we're editing, our goal is to clarify our writing for the audience. so one of the quickest things you can do is move that last paragraph to the beginning, and revise the rest of your essay based on this new introductory paragraph.

Same thing happens in a coaching session. I ask for take-always at then end, and often that’s when the breakthrough happens.

what happens is that as we are writing, we're clarifying our thinking. sometimes it takes five paragraphs before we know what we really want to say. so the conclusion ends up being the clearest paragraph out of all the ones we've written.
