What's something you find confusing about Farcaster or Warpcast? No dumb questions—if it's confusing to you, likely confusing for others.

"Trending" is a Warpcast-only algo. We choose casts from whole network that we deem useful for all users to see. It is a global feed of casts and is generally same for all users. "All channels" is a feed of casts from all the channels you follow. It has no algo and is specific to channels you follow.

Hey could you go further into how and what does the algo deem 'useful'? Is it not *just* based on engagement (likes, recast, comment)

The "trending algo" changes very frequently so there is no checklist. However, it is indeed based on reactions but it also depends on overall network quality cast liquidity for it to appear in trending. It will also never show casts from channels not followed by the user even if its a very engaging cast.
