one big difference between '21 and '24 crypto is moving from building products we'd like to see in the world to building products we think can fit into this world.

I think this applies generally to lots of industries right now. Catering to the lowest common denominator bc that's 'good enough'. Wasn't groundbreaking but the book Filterworld talking about how algorithms are causing everything to skew towards the same average look, feel, vibe seems apt here too.
