the biggest shifts in business come from taking what was private and making it public. the internet did it to media. crypto is doing it to finance. AI is doing it to expertise. the pattern is clear: observability creates new markets.

interesting to think about media as primary vs secondary: primary's a growth system, expands network & broadens business. secondary's a reinforcement, supports the core system. most over index on secondary because they cover what they do (lag) instead of where they’re going.
