For the record - this post was spurred by an argument about whether I was "supporting Trump" by using Google Calendar. 

The fact that folks read this and immediately jumped to "Joan supports genocide" is...not fantastic. 

Could I have added more context? 

Sure. 

Is it appropriate to expect that every tweet I write be accompanied by an index of condemnations and qualifications to avoid being called a child murderer? 

No.

i assume they all sold their index funds then, right? they called up their 401k providers and told them they didn't want their retirement money invested in a company that supports trump!!

Because Google donated to the inauguration etc. you can’t win with some folks.
