Artists & creators, if you're not interested in the current token meta, what are your minting options? I've got Highlight and Manifold, maybe opensea and rarible if you don't care so much about controlling your own contract. Anything else? And what % are you giving to the platform on the price your collector pays?

Everyone should care about creating their own contract imo. Manifold or Transient labs are the best options these days. Until platforms actually help artists make sales and get more eyes on their work, i dont think their fees are justified. Especially if all the collectors come from our own social media posts.

Agree, we should always have the control of our own contract. I’m building something for FC (and I guess other socials) with a 2% fee, artist owned thirdweb contract. lmk if you’d like to give it a try

Id love to hear more im always open to exploring new things, but tbh its kinda hard to compete with manifold since we can notify all our collectors when we mint new work and create collection pages. And now display all our nfts in one place. My main unsolved issue atm is a token gated shop (woocommerce on WP or shopify but that allows sol tokens as well, Manifold doenst have sol yet).
