Underrated: founder friends who are willing to call you out for not shipping fast enough. It’s easy to tell someone they’re doing a great job to avoid conflict — it’s hard to care enough to tell them they’re fucking things up. Some of the most helpful chats I’ve had are with friends who have chewed out my team for promising to release something and failing to follow through.
