women in web3, particularly crypto twitter, are some of the most confusing people i've ever encountered i held off on writing this for awhile due to pushback, but as an ex SW who used to work in the tech space, this has been my experience with other women on crypto twitter https://t.co/nWxRrD5j2C

for me it’s this part, it’s so true 🥲 “Why are we still defending unprofessional, gross behaviour because someone has “connections”? And why is it always the women cleaning it up, quietly messaging each other, taking screenshots just in case?”

"Listen. Just because you’re a woman building a company does not make it “girly tech.” Just because your UI has rounded corners and a serif logo doesn’t mean it’s culturally relevant. And no one is obligated to invest in you to prove they support women." This statement is true, but the facts speak for themselves: "girly tech", or "hard tech", doesn't matter — the investors in this space don't invest in women. That, plus the obvious rage bait of a topic he decided to shit out, is what made people so mad in that thread.
