There haven't been enough token distribution experiments tied to physical products or events 

Tying together the physical and digital worlds is something that I think we'll see happen more over time.  Stuff like AR, connected items, digitally gated events based on verifications, etc

"phygital" was attempted a lot during the collectibles perspective but didn't create a sticky value. 

I think we need more users valuing onchain collectibles before this experiment becomes successful.
