mostly just accounts in the rewards algo sweet spot (~1000 followers)

writing about products & protocols on Farcaster | prev. Juicebox, Nouns, RAW DAO | casting about coffee, hi-fi, and other rabbit holes

I’m well below 1k and have been top 100 every week until this week- I don’t think it’s that- I have thoughts  on what it could be but no idea 🧠

I think it was predominantly based on how many accounts closer to the center of social gravity follow you and interact with your content

the rewards algo is definitely biased towards lower follower #s hence why you get the “new account joins and hits top 3!” phenomenon.

the ones that stick around tend to do quite well in the 500-1000 follower range, probably up to a few thousand before it starts getting hard.
