THE ADVOCATE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD OF SIN
"And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.” John 16:8-11
▪The Holy Spirit convicts us to call us to repentance. Only those whose hearts are open will feel this urging from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came when Paul and Silas were in prison. The Holy Spirit touched the jailer under whose watch these disciples were, and he believed in Christ. The Holy Spirit calls us to conversion. When the man saw what happened, he asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
~ The Spirit convicts us, so we will repent and be saved. "It is not the will of God that any of these little ones should perish" (cf. Matthew 18:14). 0 reply
