Try clear your cache on the browser and try again, I just click connect and all the messages pop up in rainbow.. also update the rainbow and try again.. feel free to dm

yeah tried that but it wouldn't work either, oh well.

Usually that pin means your phone password.. Mine it’s face Id

Did it on MM on desktop in the end. I think my rainbow wallet was fucked somehow, I kept asking for a pin to send stuff. I don't know whether that's something I would have set up before, who knows. Seems a bit counterintuitive to me.

Cheers man. Done all that, still not working, sign to verify message gets pushed to rainbow wallet, I click confirm and it asks me to choose and confirm a pin code, which i do and then get circled back to the same verify to sign message.
