Reflecting on July 4th 🇺🇸
The founding fathers had the conviction to fight for what felt truly theirs, to build a world rooted in freedom. The same spirit drives entrepreneurship today: the vision to create, the courage to own your actions, and the will to leave a mark.
I’ve been drawn to this country for that reason, the unapologetic vision of being able to make mistakes, learn from them, and not be judged or defined by them. The ability to try again. To never give up.
The spirit of experimentation (though I wish it wasn’t always in the name of DARPA) still holds power and I hope it evolves into a shared vision of living better, and well. As ironic as it may be, that bold construct still defines a nation built to make it.
The new vision of freedom is one we’re all building, economically, which I hope begins to truly impact the well-being of society. I do see a new generation more connected to purpose and meaning, and that could be a game changer in the face of what’s coming. 1 reply
