Almost completely convinced you really only need three exercises for your abs: - leg raises - decline crunches - planks / side planks

Planks are wonderful but You don’t need the isolated movements unless you are competing in body building. If you’re looking for strength and stability (and you’d like to see your abs pop) try throwing 30 lbs in a backpack and walking for 45mins. Your abs will look like the Spartans in 300.
