Just realized something that potentially makes txn frame payments hard rn 😅 How many of you have DEGEN in your coinbase wallet that is connected with your mobile Warpcast app?

I think I'm missing a piece here...doesn't everyone NEED degen in their connected wallet for the allo? I have my 10K+ degen sitting on base, in coinbase wallet (onchain,whatever), connected to warp.

So the wallet that is connected to warpcast mobile isn't necessarily the coinbase wallet that opens when you try to do transactions

I guess it depends which one I’m in the mood for? I have 4 different wallets using the same address to display different things. Sometimes I pull up Coinbase. Sometimes one of the other ones depending what I’m looking for 🤫

so on desktop that's fine, but on mobile warpcast will only allow you to connect to your coinbase wallet app. Metamask/rainbow/etc do not work explicitly by their design choices.

I guess I’ve never really paid attention? But I feel like I’ve only installed Coinbase wallet recently and I’ve been connected to Warpcast from the start. When I first started using Warpcast I only had MetaMask installed on my phone

So to clarify - you can only interact with transaction frames on mobile with Coinbase wallet So all the other stuff is still fine

so the issue at hand is that if you're: a) on mobile b) transacting via frame c) don't use cb wallet then you cannot transact?? you said this is by design -- from warp or rainbow/mm?

Yes correct - I can’t find the the OG cast but basically it was about the challenges of consistency with connecting the wallet on mobile

so this was a decision by warp to align themselves with cb? makes sense, if you've gotta pick one. surprised this is the case, but i can't pretend to understand the complexities from the dev side. even chrome has difficulties knowing what wallet to open if you've got multiple.
