Why do I get this doomer rep when there are bros on here 10x as bad 

Mostly I am just saying things as they are and observing trends idk

but more seriously, I think it’s 3 fold

1. Nobody really cares about men’s feelings in general (ie men should suffer bc that’s their role)

2. AFAICT tell you’re much more visible than any true doomer on this toxically optimistic app (and you’re also more visible bc of the perceived gender mismatch to pessimism )

3. The people that tell you you’re doomer are your internet friends and they’re actively paying attention to what you do even if they don’t always engage w it (this is me)

I think we prob have different definitions of doomer, but I get that

Fundamentally tho, I do believe you choose your own standards for the “successfulness” of your life so if that’s truly what you believe to be right and good for you I support it

That said, I don’t think you have to self-flagellate to find meaning or success (but again we could just differ here)

This isn’t doomer 😂 if it was doomer I would be saying publicly “I am so fucked it’s over”

This is accountability for my mistakes and a recognition I have to change
