We will have billions of robots within the next few decades. Just look at cars - there are more cars in the US (275 million) than adults (260 million). Robots are more useful, so we'll have multiples more robots than cars and humans. He who owns the robots controls the future - and gets the spoils. At first, the constraint will be the number and cost of robots. Then, it will be compute, needed to power the robots' brains. But eventually, it will be energy, needed to power it all. This is the race of this century. Robots. Compute. Energy.
