As much as I love B2B saas, I enjoy flexing my creative muscles. Hackathons are a great outlet for that. I get the opportunity to entertain, wow and sell to an audience of developers and business owners. 

I live for the roar of applause from a well met product presentation. Part of me still craves validation from social scars left from childhood. 
So be it. Winning is healing.

I wake up with a sudden jolt of cortisol coursing through my body as my brain begins to process the weight of today—HACK DAY! 

Inner voice: Get on your feet Kazi. People rely on you. We perform. On 3..2.. Here we go.

I land on my feet, the basement floor is cold, but I’m so jacked up on cortisol and adrenaline that I can’t even process the sting of cold cheap laminate on my feet. I try not to make eye contact with the pile of smelly old, torn black socks in front of my night stand.
