Happy Tree Thursday! Sometimes I’m lucky enough to watch two seasons collide in the coolest way. Spring and Fall in one shot. Enjoy the /sakura and the /momiji at the same time. This is very rare.

This one is the reverse. Normal Sakura, special species of Japanese maple that gets redder as it gets cooler.

I avoid Japan in the summer but it’s actually really nice this week! I’ve cut my trips short due to FarCon but I used to stay till right after Memorial Day ish as it got hotter but I’d also be in Hokkaido so I could usually stretch it into June.

Wow! So lucky to spend such a long time there at one go. Late next week I will hit up Tokyo, for some work, might be cool to meet some farcasters there. It’s been so long since I popped into one at nyc

There are a bunch of folks hiding in Tokyo, but they aren’t super active anymore. Last summer was rough on Japanese Farcaster. We even have a DAO via @tokyowip but it’s been rough to build momentum after the summer that shall not be named. https://media.tenor.com/sw4GnyyBTREAAAAC/voldemort-smiling
