Any tips or things to watch out for?

Do they want to run llm’s locally? If so, up the ram a bit. You also didn’t mentioned storage, which I think is a big issue for longevity (presumably this will get 3+ years of use easily. Even 5-6, but you’ll probably write off by 3, accounting wise)

I would say 1tb at minimum for storage. Rest is fine for your use case

I don’t think we’ll be running LLMs locally — we’ll just use cloud services like ChatGPT. Storage is 512 GB, but since we’re not doing media and most stuff will be in the cloud (databases, etc), that should be more than enough.
