i think i am super exposed to cantonese/hakka cuisine, hailing from malaysia. i like jing cuisine (having spent a few months there once), and while there i came to enjoy chuanr, which is Xinjiang cuisine (and their other stuff too)

ya the main selling point is that it's halal, tbh the ones i've had here are really weak in terms of complexity compared to other chinese cuisines, even when compared to fujian, that's known to be light in seasoning

super smart (for the arabs to do this btw). the malaysian fix for this is chicken based broth for ramen shops. there are a few popular ones in kl. gets lines: https://g.co/kgs/UUKVfXJ there's also one at lot 10 on the 4th floor, in the higher end area, forget its name

not sure how the arabs from across the street learned how to cook Japanese because they have sushi and ramen feeling not sure where the years of experience could come from also i have my places where to get food in my curry and i don’t feel like experimenting anymore
