Question. What’s the point in participating in some of these ponders if you get LESS than what you put in even with a win? Or is that a vague number that hasn’t calculated the losers out? 😆 Genuinely want to know.

Good question - first, you’ll never earn less than you put in. Also:

1. We’re not adding the entry amount to the pool. If you add it and then do the math, the numbers should line up.

2. This calculation assumes EVERY person guesses right. Obviously, we don’t know how many get it wrong until the prediction concludes, but there are always wrong answers. We just can’t project before the contest runs so we show the absolute minimum amount, which is = to your entry.
