two things can be true: 1. many farcaster users feel as though a 'FC Cabal' is favored at the client level, and enjoy permanent, outsized benefits from being active, early 2. its totally possible to join Farcaster and grow an account from 0. I joined on Feb. 5th and my account is in the top 300 users by engagement according to most dashboards I've checked. You have to post & reply consistently, and it really helps to have something to say.

yeah, I agree. which is why I think we should take seriously number 1 I didn't have the feeling it was impossible to grow when I started here, it felt hard but doable. what can we do to bring that back?

@nicolasdavis.eth and I got here at the end of April. I have 11k followers and Nic has almost 15k (I have 15k on twitter) Nic is one of my closest friends. I have to believe there are at least 3 other accounts that climbed to over 10k with us during that time.

wowowow time flies!! unlike my big sis burr, i only had 2.9k followers on X when starting here! i would say maybe (maximum) 1k of those have followed me here on FC! the others are all new frens i made here by REPLYING! i’m not a buildoor or a dev, i create art yes but i attribute 90% of followers here to meaningful replies!
