my old lady is great, actually. better than she's been for awhile, which tells me i should have taken her in sooner. but, hindsight and such. the younger one won't poop when the ground is wet. that's absurd and hilarious for such a big dog. he's also good, if a bit constipated.

Phew, that was a close call. My heart was breaking for you. My bf's brothers dog Doc, is a giant yellow lab and he wont poop in the yard π€£ It is hilarious how these animals have us humans trained LMAO

it would have been /crushing/ -- like, the start of my villain arc crushing. wake turns heel and slaps randy savage crushing. but we get to save that for another day, thankfully. wrt young dog: especially for how big and strong and sometimes brave they are. "i will kill for you. i will rend flesh from bone for you. i will torture cats for you. that is, unless i have to cross wet grass first."

Let me know when we turn into villains. Im here for that arc (but not as a result of doggo passing, just if we ever decide we need a brand change) Young doggos are so funny. The pickiness in deciding where to poop is especially perplexing. I think its a dominance thing. Doc always gets his way so i think that's why he does it. I wont poop in public restrooms so like i kinda get it. Wet grass is yucky β οΈ

yep, and it's very easy to accidentally reinforce the behavior by captulating to their basic needs lol ostensibly he goes out front to poop. really, he just wants to snuff around for rabbits and pooping is how he got the humans to comply.
