Also I would disagree with the idea of ‘no thought’. Having zero thoughts isn’t achievable and can be potentially dangerous. The idea of meditation is to practice allowing the thoughts to come and go, letting the thoughts in rather than blocking them out and allowing them to pass, bringing the attention back to the body.

idk, i’m reading the power of now by tolle right now and from what i understand, he is advocating for separating from the mind and practicing pure presence, where there is no space for mind chatter, rather just an experience of “now-ness” that is unfiltered
