Here’s a photograph I took of the sand dunes in Death Valley National Park. I had to scramble up the dunes in the dark to be in position for the morning’s first rays. But that extreme low angle of light accentuates the sand ripples and turns the dune crest into a knife edge. Definitely worth the 4am rise time. 😉
