Finally have internet again, as I’m still deep in the wilds for my spring photo run.
Here’s a shot I captured in the coastal dunes of Oregon. Don’t those patterns seem unreal—or at least man-made?
Nope. That’s pure nature working her magic.

Trying to push another image through my internet connection while I’m in the thick of my photo trip. Here’s another shot from The Painted Hills—this one I’m calling “Leopard Fur Hill” for obvious reasons.
And yes, this is real. The Painted Hills are one of the strangest places I’ve yet encountered for landscapes.

Got a connection just long enough to see this—freaking gorgeous! The hot blue stars are especially out of this world (chortle 🤭). 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Still early into this latest photo trip, I’m trying to cast a couple images I captured in Oregon’s (USA) Painted Hills.
Check out this shot in late afternoon light that looks like Gustav Klimt blended with Salvador Dali.

I’m in the early days of my 3-week photo travel, and have a momentary internet connection—just in time for Monochrome Monday! Here’s the first shot from my trip.

Happy Travels Thursday!
I’m heading out on my next big photo adventure, so casting will be intermittent until I’m back in late April.
See you all out there! 👋

This is goodbye for the next 3 weeks, as I’m off on another photo trip into the wild where internet access is rare.
I’ll check in now and then but won’t be casting regularly until late April.
In the meantime, stay safe and keep casting photos! 📸

We’re back with another delicate image for Sunset Sunday, taken from where?
Puget Sound, of course! 🙂

We made it to the weekend! Time for another one of my “Landscape Stories”: a photograph accompanied by a creative narrative.
This story, entitled “March of the Sea Stars”, attempts to draw you into the same scene, but from this little sea creature’s perspective.
