Kinda sounds like solana pipelining and think ultimately it’s about control and siloing and not making sacrifices to fit.

Personally don’t understand why not build on the OP stack, yet I’m not technical enough to get into the nitty gritty.

Would assume it also comes down to how you can pitch to the folks you want to bring into the tent - visa et Al.
