yes, it is. that's why there are trillion dollars businesses built on top of our creativity.

The way those businesses make money is by advertising on your posts. Not every post has ads because not every post garners enough attention to be worth it for a business to pay for an ad on (where the money comes from).

ads monetize the value, yes. but the value is still there.

Guess what I don’t currently understand is:  

previous social networks either relied upon early investor funds or advertising to generate resources to incentivize creators - see insta reels launch for example.

In the coin everything, it seems you’re relying upon the user base to generate these resources… and am not convinced enough whales and folks are present to create bet positive flow…

Unless everyone bought Zora at the low and takes profits and doesn’t spend that on other places.

Imo the value is there but it’s in the data, its analysis & interpretation, and the perfect (ad/user/client) targeting - rarely the content itself is valuable as one-off solution. Probably only if someone has already built a (art, athlete, influencer..) legacy before.

I do expect we can make more connections & even better interpretation one day when the data & transactions are onchain - but that’s not exactly what is sold currently and it should also be terrifying.
