Think rates here spiked to $24-$25 this last winter, combined with actual winter weather for the first time in years > $$$

We use eversource, per therm delivered price was 30 percent higher this Jan v Jan 2024

They have since reduced $ going to mass save to reduce prices a bit over next few years.

No we don’t actually compost very much.

After decade plus of production and sales we can pretty well match harvests to sales 

And fuel use on the farm is rather minimal for our tractors as we don’t heat our greenhouse 

Have friends who have used recycled fryer oil type set ups for oil burners in their greenhouses and had solid success.   Most have been doing it for decades and got connected to restaurants before waste pop was more commonly collected

Ever thought about biogas @brixbounty ? I imagine you’re composting a lot of organic waste on a veggie farm.
