if you as an entrepreneur hate cluely, you're a boomer who's going to get left behind. tech is no longer the moat, distribution is. going viral is hard and is a skill.

…. So your saying it’s okay to raise $15M - spend 100k on cigars to celebrate, hundreds of thousands on an after party, spend money on hiring 50 influencers to create marketing videos….Yet not spend the time or money to protect their users data? Currently a Russian β€˜ethical’ hacker, I’ll call him ethical for now, has continued access to Cluely & InterviewCoders user data including names, emails, phone numbers & credit card details. There are global laws put in place to protect users. The hacker notified Cluely, they were supposed to email their customers about the breach within 72hrs…. It’s been almost a week with no notification. Also let’s talk about how it’s illegal to record someone w/out their consent in many areas of the world. Cluely’s privacy policy tries to shift blame to the user, but they are providing the platform for illegally collected data to be stored. It’s an absolute sh*tstorm waiting to happen ….& no, I don’t think we should celebrate this type of behavior.
