i’ve been neglecting my mental health lately (for the past year probably) and compensating for it by being extra diligent with my physical health, forgetting that physical health is only one piece of the puzzle and having excellent physical health doesn’t make up for having terrible mental health they say stress kills and turns out it’s not an exaggeration by letting stress build over the past year and doing nothing to address it, i’ve somehow caused my brain to forget how to see properly - some wiring between my brain and eyes have gotten tangled up or disconnected and my eyes have lost their ability to focus, which has led me to see double and affected my ability to drive, work, do some hobbies, and maintain a strong social life this has been going on all month and i’m finally starting to accept the reality of it and prioritizing my mental health, learning how to destress from the past year, and trying to restore my vision take care of yourselves & don’t neglect your mental health 💜

wow. sorry. A few years ago I got an unusual and bad case of vertigo not unlike the symptoms you’re talking about from likely stress and my brain misinterpreting things. so believe me when I say, I feel for you. I’ve been basically rid of it for about two years.

thanks brad, and sorry you went through that. great to hear you've fully healed from it and it's been a couple years though - hoping to follow in your footsteps

another vertigo sufferer :( mine came on very suddenly (remember the exact date & time) and have been trying to plow through life with it. unfortunately, I have not been able to totally eliminate it. at best, just help manage and control it
