I mean hard to make a coherent argument for Ronaldo other than longevity

I can’t decide whether to call this out as engagement farming or respond with a coherent argument starting with the goal that sent Portugal to PKs with Spain in the Nations League final extending Ronaldo’s record as the top scorer in international football with 138 goals.

Oh, I see we're picking arbitrary metrics. How about Ballon d'Or?

And have those 138 international goals resulted in a Ronaldo winning a World Cup?

According to Grok, here are the top seven. Personally I place more weight on winning a World Cup, so Zidane or the original Ronaldo would be my pick for the fourth slot, but under my constraint Cristiano Ronaldo wouldn't be on the list so 🤷
