99% of BlueSky seems very hostile to crypto. The Fediverse is also. But the difference is BlueSky isn't centered around servers so if someone hates crypto they can't ban a entire server of hundreds or thousands of people at once, they have to manually block them individually. So, BlueSky will own crypto not Fedi.

I think you mean domain not server. User PDSs are spread across many servers

Kind of. I mean there is a Fediverse blocking dynamic based around the community nature of a server (boundary defined by domain name). e.g. "my entire community is now blocking your entire community because of one user" There is no analogy to that on BlueSky.

On Fediverse your identity and your appview are irrevocably tied to that domain name. This has turned out to be a terrible mistake and the network is hopelessly balkanized

yep. The Fediverse is a purgatory that fools and lemmings started using to escape Elon's kingdom. https://x.com/boscolochris/status/1603560212790665218

I've been there since Feb 2016, before Mastodon hijacked it and filled it with absolutely insufferable people. Made some of the best friendships of my life on there but it is hopelessly broken.
