I think this something I’ve heard, and thought myself when studying planetary science. There’s levels to it as well, and much like the nature camera people who can end up with mental health issues after watching an animal for weeks then watching it die and not being able to help. Sometimes the best thing to do for your own well being is to move across the field.

I wonder if there’s any appetite for more research into Honey Bee waggle dances and the kind of work you’re can do by having a perspex hive, and studying the bee interactions and pollen being brought back to the hive?
