The fully doxxed have more skin in the game than the pseuds, which is why it’s perplexing to me how in many instances pseuds are more easily able to accrue trust A pseud’s opinion should be doubly discounted. They have no reputation risk

in the market of ideas reputation is earned by being interesting or right consistently many scammers use the -i’m doxxed excuse to lure you in and divert from their scamming, A pseudonym doesnt necessarily mean much i use my real name for example, i just dont think im famous enough for that to matter to anyone online

I think being doxxed is actually a good thing. If you scam, you really only can do it once (people have memories unless you find new marks). But I also do think that with ai, we will trust more anons because they will look so real :)

i guess there are levels to being doxxed. public name public face public famous persona the thing is doxxed or not as you say, you still have to do due dilliegence

i think the problem is, scam marks dont due any due diligence. many anon x scammers are easily found out if you google or search their name on X, and they dont seem to bother with a rebrand because dumb people who will fall for their scam, dont do dyor 99% of the time

what’s worse, scammed people become the perfect victim to other scammers, just like the amazon you already bought feature if you got scammed once you’re much more likely to gwt scammed again idk where im going but doxxed/pseud/anon doesnt seem to matter in this regard?

Idk if that’s true that people get easier to scam… But it’s not always about scamming, either. I want to talk to PEOPLE at the end of the day Messy, complex, multi faceted people What is an anon? Many times it is a character, a mirage. Might as well be talking to Mickey Mouse I struggle with that too

Sigh. I really feel for those who get scammed repeatedly. Once bitten, twice shy, I would think. At which point you’re right. It doesn’t matter if you’re doxxed/pseudo/anon - maybe some people are just easy marks. I wonder if there’s anything written about this. Papers or books. Never thought about it till now
