sad to see a broken algorithm, and now, authentic expression turned into commodified performance. a literal price tag on posts that were meant for human connection. farcaster feels less like a space for genuine communication, and more like a marketplace for content. that's never what i signed up for

so far i've mostly had bids that felt more like human connections than speculative ones. They're 1$ bids on old casts, that maybe meant something to the person making the bid. Like for example, @pugson bid on my first cast ever sharing a photo using his pixeldrop app. I didnt like the idea of it at it's face value, but the experience has been better than expected so far. No speculation, just human connection, albeit with some dollars on the mix.
