tbh the whole chat ui is a retograd thing for the groundbreaking tech in the first place

Problem is it sometimes references conversations and memories and makes the llm dumber. This especially true when you’re actively testing. So temporary chats are good (you’ll be surprised), but then no way to automatically decide you’d like to save it. 

Compare to Claude - no such thing (and Gemini by default isn’t personalized either)
