Are Solo Leveling and Frieren the only anime deeply worth watching so far this year?

The Witch and The Beast is interesting. A lil slow but interesting. Good fantasy detective vibes. Gonna be interesting to see how the connections and story plays out.

You have a solid point but I stumbled into it and liked it before knowing it was mappa

I feel like Buchigiri is hype because Mappa is doing it. I don’t dislike it but I think it’s skewed

I’m watching all of these! I was mostly talking about “new” shows to the season not continuing ones. Apothecary Diaries is it! Top anime on right now for sure

Apothecary Diaries is still top for me this season. Mysteries, romance, and a woman with a grounded understanding of poison? Yes.

I'm also enjoying Metallic Rouge and Witch and the Beast, but I prefer Metallic Rouge so far.

And I would say that Dangers in my Heart is deeply worth watching as well

Having read Solo Leveling… I doubt that much will be as worthwhile from what I saw was announced for the year 🤷‍♂️

Is Pluto all out now or are they doing it weekly? I have a binge problem so I avoid Netflix anime but I know some come out weekly

What’s especially wonderful about MHA that’s actually really hard to do is to create that much depth with that many characters

I would actually suggest My Hero Academia, if you didn't already.

The whole concept, characters, plot and early development/art style really didn't interest me and I started watching out of boredom and curiosity about where the hype was about..

I must say, I was amazed by the show's capability and sudden plots.

Yeah all the things I’m most excited about right now are just continuing to from fall last year. Frieren is my favorite anime from last year but also Firefighter Daigo, Ragna Crinson, Kingdom…a couple of others. Not much “new” stuff exciting yet

I have 3 must watch anime this season

1. Frieren
2. Delicious in Dungeon
3. Apothecary Diaries

They're unique, have great story and also top tier studios behind them.
