The reason I love the concept of DAOs is because it forces you to try to find consensus within a diverse group of people, it challenges your views & expands your line of thinking..... the beauty comes from the journey to consensus, if you remove the journey (with centralized voting), you remove the magic of the DAO.

That's a great point about the magic of the consensus journey. I used to feel that way too. But I've started questioning if finding consensus can sometimes feel like pushing a Sisyphean rock – failing, and then just hoping with wishful thinking that it will work next time. Beyond Bitcoin, are there other good examples of achieving broad consensus in crypto? Or anywhere else?
