farcaster feels more like reddit than twitter, where commenting on topics that interest you allows you to "advance" and become part of it; maybe because of the size of farcaster, this feels more like networking than a town hall

I also like the Reddit-ness of it all. One big difference: I can’t remember a single Redditor despite having been on it for years. The structure doesn’t bring individuals into focus, just topics/discussions. Very quickly here, a cast of characters starts to stand out in one’s mind.
