if we want more people to come over here, we really have to change the kind of content that is all over the home feed right now 

I truthfully don’t know the best way to do this at the moment but the selfies + short form video content attract all the wrong kinds

I don't understand when crypto people make public digs about Farcaster vs constructive feedback. Team is building out permissionless social, trying to help move a non-speculative crypto use case forward. I know this stuff will always happen and doesn't stop me, just don't get it

I think my disconnect is mostly around the differing audiences and content 

I'd like fc to be twitter drop in or alt twitter but it's missing a lot of the network and content i care about here

I mean you can’t ban photos and you can’t ban videos, obviously there are people here who see these things and click like, but it’s obviously at the expense of an entirely different group of people who now won’t make their way over here with those things present

True, the home feed needs a reset. If we want better people here, we have to reward better content. Right now, low-effort posts get the most shine. Culture won’t shift until quality is what we value loudest

Gotta find a middle ground

i actually don't think farcaster wins by porting twitter over, so in this case short form isn't bad (it depends on the short form video though)

i will watch a short form comedy clip any day of the week
