The vast majority of my tips are going to /politics. Love that I can support people who are helping me grow the channel. 

Side note: Really hoping for more conservative voices to join the fold.

what do you see as conservative these days when you say you hope for more? lol, the whole gamut of everything political is a chaotic mess these days imo

I feel like /politics leans socially liberal, fiscally conservative, with a mix of all politicians are corrupt - which is where I align. And I'm nervous people might view it as having a bias.  

When I say more conservative - I'd like to see more socially conservative takes/discussions.

Ah okay, I get that

And probably honestly I have takes sometimes that might fit that, but on account of the responses/borderline harassment I’d received from low-runged far lefties here recently, I completely understand why no one would offer up those takes or discussions

We are too thin skinned. I hate that a different opinion is now taken as a personal attack. It's not only bad for society, it results in bad policy. I've worked on many policies that if passed in my drafted form would have had negative effects that I was unaware of. Opposition and different views are a net positive.

Yeah, when their immediate visceral reaction to your opinion/cast is to say: “get fucked” you know you’re dealing with a fundamentalist/extremist, someone incapable of nuance, higher thinking, or even being open to a broader understanding of the respective issue

Totally understand. That's why I'm glad /politics is growing slowly. Hoping we can build a culture where you can share your takes without any harassment. Disagreement is fine but you should be respected for having an opinion. 

I also have shied away from discussing many hot topics.
