Football gives us joy, passion, and unforgettable memories. But beyond the cheers and trophies lies a side we rarely talk about — the pain, the loss, the tragedy. Some players gave everything… including their lives or careers. 🕊️ Marc-Vivien Foé collapsed and died on the pitch during a FIFA Confederations Cup match in 2003 — he was just 28. 🕊️ Antonio Puerta suffered a cardiac arrest during a La Liga match and passed away days later. ⚠️ Ryan Mason fractured his skull in a clash with Gary Cahill. After 13 months of recovery, he had to retire at just 26. ⚠️ Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest during a match — his heart stopped for 78 minutes. Though he survived, he never returned to professional football. Football is beautiful, but not without its scars. Behind the fame and glory, it’s a game that demands everything — sometimes more than it should. 💔 Let's not forget the human side of the sport.
