Learning about @cabin back in 2021 (from a VC, when I was living in Australia) was one of the reasons that first brought me into web3.

Cabin is winding down operations and distributing the money in the DAO's treasury proportionally to token holders. If you are a token holder: before May 13th, make sure all of your tokens are at the address where you want to receive USDC.

But I know all too well that it's hard to put a bottom line around people and connections. Thanks to Jon, Grin, Savannah, Jon Bo, and so many others who have done so much to activate so many community-minded stewards all over the world. 

This work of deep connection will keep paying it forward for months and years to come. ♥️

While it's hard to maintain (and often thankless work), one of the biggest things I learned is how rare it is to find people who care to carry the torch of community management in their neighborhoods.

I believed then and still believe now that there's work to be done to augment some of the emotional load of community management through AI-powered tools.

Thanks to this initiative, I'm now the president of the block association on West 75th Street and continuing to do the work to bring people together and activate my neighborhood, brick by brick.

It's not easy. There's no money in it. But I do it because community matters more than ever.
