I usually don't hang swings on trees to prevent damage to their trunks and shock, but maple and oak trees are different. The strong trunks of these trees have excellent resilience and strength. At a family nature camp, one of my companions hung a swing on a maple tree, and after many years, I rode a swing and remembered my childhood.
