Today in our household, we are celebrating Hot Dog Day. Assistant #1 works at an organization that helps people access essential health care, and that work just got a lot harder. Her org wonโt be catastrophically impacted (this time). But many others across the country will be. Which means a lot of people, especially those already facing the most barriers, will lose access to care they need and deserve. So today, weโre grateful for the people fighting to make things better. Sad (and mad) that they have to fight so hard. Proud of the progress they've made. And still hoping we can build something more worthy of celebration. I will be eating a hot dog. But Iโm dedicating it to resilience.

I don't have a dog. I am a dog. And this pic is from awhile ago, but yes! They do something called Bark in the Park where everyone brings their dogs. I suspect they do it right before the stadium is scheduled to be power washed.
