i read so much fantasy 😭 especially nk jemisin and octavia butler. 

if you’re looking for a series, the daevabad trilogy by sa chakraborty is *chef’s kiss* excellent. the world building is beautiful and complex and the antagonists have reasonable motives

We don’t call it boring we call it learned. You might like Babel, another book from the author I recommend above. Well researched, and kind of historical fiction but there’s magic.

I’m boring and need to expand out of my non-fiction bubble more.
