Takeaways from Farcaster Dev Call

• Use long casts as a way to increase amount of quality casts that generate meaningful discourse

• How can channels become so good that content or incentives from a single channel actually drives people to sign up to FC?

• How to get people from X to FC? Audience larger on X so quality content or unique functionality is the opportunity

• Reach out to FC team if interested in early testing / input of external cast data (ex. polls)

• Decentralizing channels is a balancing act w/ primary focus on existential need to grow users

• Expectation for hubs is operators must ensure high quality deployments, otherwise FC may actually charge fee to run hubs in the future

yes a small and valued cohort of early adopter creators here, hope they pave a trail for the rest!

We need more creators imo over devs to get a lil more mainstream audience in - today its mostly builders out here (dev/ community etc.)

Just hope its not airdrop threadoors who join & dilute this space
