The Brutalist was brutally boring. Fell asleep before it was over.

Going to try to watch the end tonight. Opinion may change I suppose. I admit I have a short attention span.

OK the 80s-era ending was very well done, but it was brief and didn't tie things together as much as I would have liked. I appreciate how these art films try to leave gaps to be filled in by the viewers, but this one just feels clumsy.

The aesthetic is such a key part of the story itself. I think it’s important to see on big screen at the least — ideally in 70mm film
